Intensity Therapeutics Restarts Its INVINCIBLE-4 Breast Cancer Trial

Intensity Therapeutics resumed dosing of INT230-6 in its Phase 2 presurgical triple-negative breast cancer trial under an amended, lower-dose protocol.

Intensity Therapeutics is back in the clinic with its lead cancer candidate after a temporary pause. The micro-cap company (NASDAQ: INTS) develops INT230-6, an intratumoral injection designed to kill tumors directly while priming the immune system.

On July 15, 2026, Intensity announced it had restarted patient treatment and delivered the first new dosing of INT230-6 in the randomized, open-label Phase 2 INVINCIBLE-4 trial in presurgical triple-negative breast cancer, conducted in Switzerland. The study had been paused to assess skin irritation, and under a March 2026 protocol amendment the trial now uses a lower drug-to-tumor volume ratio and a single injection. INVINCIBLE-4 compares INT230-6 given ahead of standard-of-care neoadjuvant immuno-chemotherapy against standard care alone. Before the pause, 14 patients had been treated, and those receiving INT230-6 prior to standard care showed a favorable trend toward fewer grade 3 or higher and immune-related adverse events versus standard care alone.

Restarting a small early trial is an operational step, not proof of efficacy, and the results may not pan out. This is market commentary, not investment advice — small-cap biotech stocks are highly speculative and you can lose your entire investment.
